Breakthrough is a non-profit organization located in Garfield Park. Each year, Breakthrough partners with over 8,000 local residents to address and provide resources for housing, education, violence prevention, food access, healthcare, and economic opportunity. Throughout Breakthrough, staff, residents, volunteers, and donors are partnering together to bring about a safe, stable, and engaged Garfield Park. Breakthrough has a geographic focus in which services are provided in a holistic way so that everyone has access to build connections, develop skills, and open doors of opportunity.
