Foodlink was founded in 1978 with a mission to leverage the power of food to end hunger and build healthier communities. As a leading public health organization, we administer programs to address the symptoms and root causes of hunger, as well as build the health and wealth of our communities. Foodlink mobilizes a network of 350+ partners to provide emergency food distributions, in addition to our work that includes child and senior meals, nutrition education, an urban farm, a mobile market, and a New York State Cook Apprenticeship training program.
