Our history dates back to the 1950s, when a group of women—wives and relatives of the doctors at Hospital Rivadavia—began meeting to organize fundraising activities to improve health and working conditions, and to support the daily operations of the public hospital. This dedicated effort was formalized on May 11, 1961, with a founding charter signed exclusively by women, who formed the very first board of directors. Today, numerous men and women proudly work together to keep this mission alive. It is a truly rewarding task to contribute toward ensuring that Hospital Rivadavia continues to stand as a high-quality public institution, serving and caring for all those who need it.
