We’ve owned and operated the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge in Syracuse for 36 years and our objective is to always improve the experience for our ever-growing number of participants. For 2018, we have focused a great deal of attention on the Hospitality area and the entire process of reserving your tent site.

We have adjusted the process to dramatically decrease the amount of time Captains need to spend planning Hospitality and elevate the experience on race night. We have moved to a single vendor solution for all the tents that are rented for the event. We will also still have a Bring Your Own Tent section. To make placing your order more convenient we are offering pre-designed tent packages and a la carte items, here.

To complete your hospitality reservation, please follow the steps below by accessing the Hospitality Order Form in your Captain’s Tools.

RENTING A TENT PACKAGE or TENT

  1. Either select a pre-designed tent package (includes tent, tables and chairs) or select the size tent that you want to rent. When you have made your selection, the total cost will include all processing and handling fees.
  2. If you are renting a pre-designed package, and you do not need any additional accessories (i.e. grill, cooler or chafers), proceed to checkout.
  3. If you have selected just a tent, please select the number and type of tables and chairs that you wish to rent, if you do not need any additional accessories (i.e. grill, cooler or chafers), proceed to checkout.
  4. If you require any of the accessories that are available, coolers, grills, or chafers, select the items that you require then proceed to checkout. The total cost will include all processing and handling fees.

BRINGING YOUR OWN TENT (BYOT)

  1. Companies may bring their own tent to the event. However, the tent size for BYOT may not exceed 10x20.
  2. To move forward with BYOT please access the Hospitality Order form through Captain’s Tools and purchase the BYOT Tent Permit for $26.
  3. If you do not require any of the a la carte accessories (i.e. tables, chairs, coolers, grills etc.) being offered, proceed to checkout.
  4. If you want to rent any additional accessories (i.e. tables, chairs, coolers, grills etc.), select what you need and then proceed to checkout. The total cost will include all processing and handling fees.
  5. There will be designated space on site for companies that choose to bring their own tent. BYOT area will be clearly marked on the Hospitality map which will be available one (1) week before the race.

Please Note - A BYOT tent would classify as the person who is purchasing the tent permit, owns the tent they are bringing onsite. For liability purposes, you may not rent a tent from a tent vendor and bring it on site to set up yourself. Our preferred tent vendor is the only tent vendor that will have access to park grounds to deliver and set up tents at the site location. No other tent vendors will be authorized to access company hospitality sites on race day. Once your purchase is complete you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging your purchase. The final Hospitality site map will be available online one (1) week before the race.

All teams with a tent onsite be sure to:

  • Advise all participants of your tent location and share the site map with your team members.
  • Share the site map with any caterers making deliveries to your tent. 
  • Please keep your area as clean as possible, bring along plenty of trash bags to dispose of your trash and use the provided trash cans on site.  It is very important that we leave the park as clean as possible.

RACE NIGHT HOSPITALITY PREFERRRED CATERERS

To enhance the experience of companies with hospitality sites, we are proud to work directly with five Preferred Caterers for this year's event. Preferred Caterers have exhibited excellent food choices and service at the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Syracuse. Only Preferred Caterers will have access to park grounds to deliver or serve at your site location. No other food service vendors will be authorized to access company hospitality sites on race day.

Note: All teams taking part in the hospitality program and working with a 2018 Preferred Caterer must select the caterer's name when placing your Hospitality Order. If the caterer you have selected to use for race night does not appear in this form or you are catering your tent area yourself, please select “Other Caterer” on the Hospitality Order form and fill out the appropriate information. You will also need to contact the Local Race Organizer at syracuse@jpmorganchasecc.com for approval to ensure that the caterer will be granted access to the site on race day.

Please note, all Hospitality reservations must be made by Wednesday, May 16. All reservations can be paid with a credit card in Captain's Tools or by check payable to JPMCC/Syracuse, and mailed to the following address:
