The 31st annual J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Championship is scheduled for Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at London’s Battersea Park. The 3.5-mile road race brings together the first-place men’s, women’s and mixed teams from each of the 13 J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Series cities — a total of 156 participants from 39 companies.

Hosted in New York for the first 26 years of its existence (1983-2008), the Championship in London will be the fifth Corporate Challenge final held in the current “Olympic rotation” of all seven Series countries. The 2010 Championship was conducted in Johannesburg, South Africa, and the 2011 race in Singapore. It returned stateside for events in Chicago (2012) and Rochester, New York (2013).

The Championship will start approximately five minutes before the regularly-scheduled first night of the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge in London. A capacity crowd of more than 26,000 entered the two races last July in the United Kingdom’s capital city.

London is the longest-running international event in the Series, debuting in 1986. Battersea Park is also one of the most beautiful sites, with a cross-country style race course on the shores of the River Thames, a comfortable distance from Central London.

Transnet Engineering from Johannesburg (men), University of Rochester (women) and VII BPA Sulzbach-Rosenberg (mixed) were the team champions at the 2013 J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Championship, held on the campus of the Rochester Institute of Technology last May 21.

The London race is one of 13 events that will be held in the 2014 J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Series. The complete Series schedule will be announced at www.jpmorganchasecc.com on Tuesday, January 7.

Following are all qualifying companies for the Championship event and their participants, ranked by their official finishing time in the three divisions.
