Event Cancelation

 


After the issuance of a heat emergency by the City of Boston, the 2024 J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Boston, scheduled for Thursday, June 20, was cancelled.

Event owner and operator J.P. Morgan made the cancellation decision in consultation with city and health officials. A total of 6,750 runners and walkers from 321 companies were to take part in the 3.5-mile road race that has been held regularly since 1984.

Why was the 2024 J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Boston event cancelled? 

The J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Boston, originally set for Thursday, June 20, was canceled due to a heat emergency declared by the City of Boston. 

Will the Beneficiary still receive a donation?

Yes, Boys and Girls Club of Boston will receive their full donation from the JPMorganChase Foundation in celebration of Corporate Challenge entrants.

Will there be a race in 2025?

Boston has been part of the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge family since 1984 and we intend to return in 2025.

Will refunds be issued?

As stated in our terms & conditions and rules, all entry fees are non-refundable as they were applied to the operational and production costs already made towards the event's execution. We greatly appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you next year.

Will the event be rescheduled?

No. Unfortunately, there will not be a rescheduled event due to a lack of course availability. 

Will participants still receive a Finisher shirt?

Yes, Finisher Shirts are being distributed. Please reach out to your Team Captain for more information.
