Take advantage of transportation options to arrive early at the 2008 JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge at Rochester Institute of Technology on May 29.

Record crowd registered in Rochester;
Plan your transportation to RIT now

ROCHESTER, May 19, 2008 — A record crowd of more than 10,600 runners and walkers from over 460 companies has registered for the May 29 JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge. Don't let transportation issues make you late for the 7 p.m. start. Begin your planning now to enjoy every minute of the evening.

There are several options available to get you to the 18th annual Corporate Challenge:

  • Take shuttle transportation available from several convenient locations along I-390.
  • Utilize our GreenRide program, an online “bulletin board” that provides assistance in finding transportation to the event or arranging a carpool.
  • Arrange for a carpool with your company captain and park in Lot H at RIT.

Individuals are encouraged not to drive to RIT. All entrances to the campus close at 5:30 and no cars are allowed after that time.

For those utilizing the shuttle service, please note that participants in the race will receive first preference over spectators. Please show your race number prominently to the shuttle driver.

Note that shuttle service will be provided between the off-site parking areas and the race site before the race from 4:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and after the race from 8:15 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Please be considerate to your fellow participants and load the shuttles quickly for increased efficiency.

The Corporate Challenge has been held annually in Rochester since 1991, growing from a modest 816 runners and walkers in the first event at Highland Park. The previous record for participation was 10,397 in 2007.
