At a press briefing today, Bart Broadman, Vice Chairman
of JPMorgan Asia Pacific, announced that Singapore will be added
to the JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge in 2004. The race is scheduled
for 6 p.m. on 28 April.
Singapore will join the world’s major financial
centers, such as New York, London, Frankfurt, Sydney, Chicago and
San Francisco, as a host of the world’s premier corporate
fitness event. The JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge®
Series is the largest participatory corporate running event in the
world. It attracts more than 200,000 full-time workers from 7,500
leading business and government institutions every year. Since the
first series in 1977, the Corporate Challenge has been JPMorgan’s
way of supporting a healthy, fit workplace that fosters collegiality
and partnership.
With the addition of Singapore, along with expansion
into Johannesburg, South Africa, the current 2004 JPMorgan Chase
Corporate Challenge schedule has events in six different countries
